What is LibKey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that boosts your ability to access full text and PDFs available through the library or other open access alternatives. LibKey Nomad is compatible with several browsers including Chrome, FireFox and Edge.

Follow the steps below to install LibKey Nomad, and go!

Go to: http://www.libkeynomad.com and click on the Download button under the appropriate browser icon.
Install the browser extension.
After installation, LibKey Nomad prompts you to select your subscribing institution. After that, it simply automatically scans for scholarly content on web sites you visit and adds buttons to help you access full text.

What is the difference between LibKey Nomad and LibKey Link?
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension. If a user installs it, they will see LibKey links offered to them while browsing certain pages such as publisher websites and Wikipedia. When a link is offered, a large LibKey button will appear on the screen and a smaller LibKey button will appear near the article it detects on the page and has a link for.
