Starting with the first page of the Introduction or Chapter 1 (if there is no Introduction), sequential page numbers should appear on every page. The first page of chapters and blank pages may not display a page number.
Page numbers can appear anywhere on the page as long as they are consistently placed.
The first page of every chapter should be listed in the table of contents. Whenever changes are made to the thesis, the table of contents must be updated to ensure it accurately reflects the page numbers.
