If you are a Reed College student and live on campus - Please use: 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202, as your address. If you live off-campus in one of the Counties listed below -  just use your current address:

You can get a free library card if you live, own property, teach or go to school in:

In Oregon State: Clackamas County, except for Johnson City, Hood River County, Multnomah County & Washington County

In Washington StateClark County, Klickitat County, Skamania County and Some areas of Cowlitz County: Cities of Ariel, Cougar or Woodland & Yale Precinct


To register for a new Multnomah County Library card online, go to Sign up for a library card on the Multnomah County Library website and fill out the form with your current information. Read the responsibilities, then click send. 

You will receive an email shortly after with your temporary library card number. This number can be used to instantly access e-books, streaming media, and more.

The library is currently closed due to the COVID-19 virus. When the library reopens, please come into the library to finish your registration and get your permanent library card. Your temporary library card will expire in 6 months.
