Multnomah County Library offers many services to the greater Portland community,
including special services for children, language learners, job seekers, and more.

Accessibility: Multnomah County Library provides a variety of services for people with disabilities. 

Books by mail: If you can’t come to the library, the library may be able to come to you. Shipping costs $3 per item, unless you are eligible for Homebound Services.

Contact My Librarian: Get a personalized reading or listening recommendation from an MCL librarian.

Interlibrary loan: If what you want is not available at Multnomah County Library, it may be possible to borrow books, audiobooks, microfilm, or copies of articles from another library system.

My Discovery Pass: My Discovery Pass is a partnership between Multnomah County Library and other local organizations to offer free educational and cultural experiences to Multnomah County Library cardholders. My Discovery Pass provides online access to free tickets donated by local cultural attractions.

Oregon Library Passport Program: Multnomah County Library has joined the Oregon Library Passport Program, giving Multnomah County Library patrons access to more than 100 participating libraries in Oregon.

Citizenship and Learning English: Multnomah County Library can help you get started on your journey to citizenship through citizenship classes and other resources and English language learning.

Volunteer: Need a volunteer gig? You may find open volunteer opportunities for youth and adults. Listings could include roles like tutor, event assistant, or virtual resume help.
