Dance

Reed's collection of dance videos representing a variety of genres and traditions worldwide are primarily located in the Performing Arts Resource Center (PARC) in the Performing Arts Building. Search for videos in the library catalog:

• Limit your search to Reed Library using the pull-down menu to the right of the search bar. To find materials available to request from other institutions, select Reed + Summit.
• Filter your results further using the following Resource Type facets in the left sidebar of your search results: DVD Videos and/or Streaming
• Try to narrow your search to specific performers, choreographers, companies, or ensembles. These are often easier to find in the library catalog than "dances about x" or "dances exemplifying y."
• Note: Some videos may be located IMC. Be sure to verify the location and call number before pick up, or filter your results to the PARC under Library in the left sidebar.

You can search for streaming video content in the library catalog:

• Enter your keywords into the search box and hit enter.
• Filter your results further using the following Resource Type facets in the left sidebar of your search results: Streaming
• Try to narrow your search to specific performers, choreographers, companies, or ensembles. These are often easier to find in the library catalog than "dances about x" or "dances exemplifying y."

Search the library catalog to find available audio:

• Limit your search to Reed Library using the pull-down menu to the right of the search bar. To find materials available to request from other institutions, select Reed + Summit.
• Filter your results further using the following Resource Type facets in the left sidebar of your search results: Audio CDs and/or Streaming
• Note: Reed’s CDs are housed in both the Performing Arts Resource Center (PARC) and all LPs are held at the IMC.
