These databases allow you to search the contents of periodicals to identify articles on your topic. If you find a citation for an article that is not linked to full text, check the library catalog to see if Reed subscribes to the journal and if we have the particular issue. If the article you are looking for is not available at Reed, you can request it from Interlibrary Loan.
Access via Multnomah County Library. Full text articles from more than 4600 magazines, and an additional 3,900 magazines are indexed. Topics include science, engineering, theology, and language. Some magazines cover dates earlier than 1975.
A Multnomah County Library (MCL) card number and password give you free access to many databases. We include selected MCL databases in our A-Z list when we think those resources might add value to your research. For current students especially, becoming comfortable with the kinds of resources public libraries offer will be very useful after you graduate!

As of August 2024, the interdisciplinary library of images once known as Artstor has been completely incorporated within the JSTOR platform. Artstor images will appear in all searches, or you can use the Browse Images function.
The major index of literary, linguistic and folklore scholarship. Covers all languages and literatures except classical Greek and Latin.

While this list is not comprehensive, these are some of the most prominent journals in the field and a good place to start exploring or looking for specific articles to cite in your research.
