Zines @ Reed

Learn about zine making resources at Reed College.

Zine Resources

Zines are a DIY and small-press medium, so an important part of zine making is that they are accessible to make and distribute. Generally, zines are made out of paper and bound using a long-arm stapler. They can be made via cut-and-paste collage and photocopied, printed on a risograph machine, silk screened pages, created in free-to-use online programs such as Google Slides, Canva, or paid programs such as Adobe InDesign, etc. The sky's the limit in how you make your zine!

The Reed Zine Library is resource lending library. All equipment is available for use for Reedies during open library hours. Open to the public until 6pm.
